High-carbon steel requires extra care compared to stainless steel. Always hand-wash and dry your knife immediately after use to prevent rust. We recommend applying a food-safe mineral oil to the blade if it will be stored for an extended period.
Do you offer professional sharpening services?
Yes, we provide expert hand-sharpening services using traditional Japanese whetstones. You can visit any of our physical locations or use our mail-in sharpening service to restore your blade to its original factory edge.
What is your return policy for kitchenware?
We offer a 30-day return policy on most unused items in their original packaging. Please note that for safety and hygiene reasons, used cutlery cannot be returned unless there is a verifiable manufacturing defect.
How long does shipping take for domestic orders?
Standard domestic shipping typically takes 3-7 business days. Orders are processed within 24-48 hours, and you will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your package leaves our warehouse.
Are your knives covered by a warranty?
All knives sold at Knifewear are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover normal wear and tear, chips from improper use, or damage caused by putting knives in the dishwasher.
